Gameweek 3 Preview | 25/26
It’s Gameweek 3, and there’s some spicy matches this weekend, read our preview below.

DERBY DAY & TITLE RIVAL SUNDAY
What a weekend this shapes up to be, kicking off with a London derby between Chelsea & Fulham, and finishing off with a huge game at the top early on in the season, as Arsenal travel to Anfield to face Liverpool.
Injury concerns have popped up for Arsenal as Odegaard is doubtful, and Saka is certain the miss the trip to the current champions. As for Liverpool, there were a few doubts over Mac Allister, Van Dijk & Conor Bradley, but it doesn’t seem like any new injuries since the Newcastle match and all seem likely to be in the squad.
The last 5 meetings between the club has seen the following results, with Arsenal having a slight advantage, although at Anfield recently, it’s been draws galore.
- Liverpool 2-2 Arsenal
- Arsenal 2-2 Liverpool
- Arsenal 3-1 Liverpool
- Liverpool 1-1 Arsenal
- Liverpool 2-2 Arsenal
Despite injury concerns for Arsenal, there’s still excitement in the air as Eze is set to make his debut for the gunners, as well as fans hoping that Gyokeres will be able to score again after bagging his first two for the club last weekend.
But that’s not all, I’m sure ML players will be keeping a close eye on the Man United match after an incredible upset midweek, as Grimsby knocked the Red Devils out of the EFL cup.
Several other notable matches this weekend:
- Brighton v Man City
- Forest v West Ham
- Villa v Palace
- Spurs v Bournemouth
- Leeds v Newcastle
Lots to keep an eye on, lots of great football to watch, as always, the pitch is ready.
